She did it! Andriana posted this picture, got people to share it, and is, at this very moment, talking for the first time with her older sister who hasn't seen Andriana since she was a baby, but has been looking for her.
There are five other siblings and a mother to try to contact.
We're opening a new chapter.

ReplyDeleteThere's a lot of adoption in my family and one just now found contact info for her birth father (this child was adopted from overseas) - they said it's rare to have a parent be open to finding a child over there, but he had given his information in case this child ever tried to find him. And this child also reached out to the organization, and they were floored...because I guess they don't get many kids trying to find their birth parents either there... So our family is in the process of watching this play out, as well (though across the world it's a little more complicated, I suppose!)
So I'll be praying as you guys begin this new chapter and as she starts these interactions...especially as it's something especially close to my heart right now!
